My Favorite Appetizers in Lincoln, Nebraska
Today I had an appetizer that I wanted to add to my Favorite Appetizers in Lincoln list. Up to now, that list has lived exclusively in my head. but now I’m giving it a place on the blog.
- Beet Fries at Piedmont Bistro
Togarashi seasoning / kewpie mayo / chili apricot sauce / cilantro oil
- Chicken Tempura at The Blue Orchid
Tempura-battered chicken sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Served with sweet and sour vinaigrette.
- Lobster & Crab Rangoon at Kinja
Lobster, crab mix, cream cheese, scallions with mango sauce
- Onion Pakora at Kripa Indian & Nepali Cuisine (today’s addition to the list)
Tartly spiced fritters made with onion and seasoned chickpea-flour batter and served with mint and tamarind sauces
- Skillet Shrimp at High Peak
Garlic, dried up chili peppers, topped with scallions and a lemon
